The Warmer Kiwi Homes grant covers both insulation and heat pumps. If eligible, you could get 80% or more* of the cost of your Insulation ($2,000 - 3,000), and 80% of the cost of your heat pump (maximum of $3,000 incl GST) covered, potentially saving you over $5,000.

Search for your address with EECA's Map Tool and if you're in a zone that is labelled 7, 8, 9, or 10, you should be eligible. If you're in a zone that is labelled 8, 9, or 10, you should be eligible for a heat pump subsidy. Alternatively, you may also be eligible if you're a Community Service Card holder. Referrals from DHBs may also be eligible for free insulation.
